I'm pleased to announce the publication of a new handbook on electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) implementation. This book, written by myself and Willie Muehlhausen and available as a paperback via Amazon, is intended to provide information on the successful design and implementation of ePRO in pharmaceutical clinical trials and clinical research.
After making the case for using electronic solutions to collect patient-reported outcome (PRO) data, the book reviews key aspects of ePRO use including design, validation and practical implementation.
Throughout, the text provides recommendations and references to best practice.
We hope this is a useful reference to all involved in the use of ePRO to collect clinical endpoints to support labelling and reimbursement.
Currently, any royalties associated with the book will be donated in full to two charities:
- StoneBridge City Farm, Nottingham, UK: a registered charity supporting people from Nottingham with learning disabilities.
- Make-A-Wish Ireland: a registered charity granting wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.
